Hebrew (HEBR)

A first course in biblical Hebrew language involving a systematic introduction to biblical Hebrew through an intensive study of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary that includes reading sections from Genesis 1-11 in Hebrew.

We will continue learning biblical Hebrew to gain a solid grasp of morphology (i.e. its forms) and syntax (i.e. grammar and sentence structure). We will use these skills to read and translate texts in the Hebrew Bible. You will also be required to enroll in a Practicum.
