Includes both continuous and discrete distributions, conditional probability and Bayes’ Theorem, random variables and expected values, joint distributions of several random variables, functions of random variables, and the Central Limit Theorem. Prerequisite: Mathematics 241. Breadth area: Applied Mathematics/Statistics. One unit.
